Sisu- Road to Revenge (2025)

The story begins two years after the original film, set in the aftermath of World War II. Korpi had lost his entire family in the Carellia region—land that once belonged to Finland until the Nazis took control during the war. By now, he had become extremely wealthy thanks to the gold he’d recovered. Leaving his homeland behind, he journeyed to the city of Carellia, where he eventually found his old house still standing exactly as it had been when the war ended.

Inside, Korpi came across a photo of his family—his spouse and their two sons. The image hit him hard, filling him with emotion as he paused to remember them. His truck had brought him there. At the same time, the scene cuts to a Siberian prison holding a single inmate. The prisoner was escorted out, and it’s revealed that his name is Yeagor.

General Rict reveals that Yeagor had crossed into Finland while serving with a Nazi unit. As they were withdrawing, Yeagor’s group burned down numerous villages. During that campaign, Yeagor had killed a woman and her two children, then angrily hacked their remains to pieces. But the victims turned out to be the family of Atami Korpi, a Finnish special forces soldier who had once slain 300 men by himself and become a mythic figure.

With Korpi’s return to their land, Rict wanted Yeagor to take him out. If they didn’t stop him, Korpi would go on searching for them and leave an even larger trail of bodies behind. Yeagor reluctantly agreed. Back with Korpi, he was inspecting the wooden timbers from his old house. He separated them carefully, selecting the ones that were still intact. Using a rope-driven machine, he began fastening and loading the logs into his truck.

The task was tiring, but Korpi had always been a man who relied solely on himself. After sorting out the wood that could still serve a purpose, he loaded it into the truck and lit the leftover pieces on fire. Korpi was finally ready to make the journey home and rebuild his house. Remembering his wife and sons, he left the area and started the long 120-kilometer drive. As he made his way down the road, he gazed at the family photo inside his truck.

Suddenly, two officers rushed in front of him and ordered him to stop. Korpi spotted another truck arriving and stopping behind the officers, and he instantly realized these people didn’t plan to let him pass. One officer approached him, and Korpi handed over his ID. The officer took it to the man waiting in the second truck, who turned out to be Yeagor. After checking the card, Yeagor confirmed that he was truly Tommy Korpi.

Yeagor eyed the logs loaded in the back and said, “From all the tales I’ve heard about you, it’s obvious you really cared about that old house. So let’s finish everything—along with that house of yours.” The officers then began closing in on Korpi, and he watched them carefully. One officer started pouring alcohol into a bottle to set it ablaze and blow it up, while another moved in behind Korpi with a gun, prepared to finish him.

Just as both officers got near, Korpi opened his door in an instant and shot one of them. He then reversed the truck, crushing the other officer behind him. He sped away, but one officer managed to latch onto the truck and climb inside. Korpi battled him and eventually knocked him out cold. At the same time, Yeagor ordered one of his heavy trucks to go after Korpi. Korpi saw that the soldier in his truck had a firearm, but it wasn’t loaded.

Once the soldier came to, Korpi told him to load the bullets. Afterward, Korpi took the weapon from him as the truck kept moving fast, with Yeagor’s convoy right behind. Eventually, Korpi stopped the truck, opened it up, and the soldier tried to escape. The guards from Yeagor’s convoy caught up and gunned down the soldier instantly. Korpi then stepped out and swiftly eliminated all the guards one by one. With the threat gone, he leveled his gun at Yeagor’s vehicle.

Yeagor called for a weapon from one of his men, but Korpi shot the man before he could pass it over. Since Yeagor had no gun of his own, Korpi left him alive and simply destroyed the truck’s tires to keep him from following. At this stage, Korpi still didn’t realize that Yeagor was the one who had killed his wife and sons. He simply kept driving. Furious, Yeagor grabbed his radio and called in his special motorcycle unit, ordering them to hunt Korpi down.

Once he repaired his tire, he followed them as well. Korpi diverted his route to mislead the pursuers, but Yeagor quickly understood the change. He rallied his bikers and stormed toward Korpi at full speed. Before long, the bikers had nearly reached him. Korpi shot at the bikers, but their metal helmets stopped every bullet. Their shots, however, hit him—one biker’s bullet forced his truck to skid into the bushes. Though hurt, Korpi pulled the truck back onto the road.

The bikers chased relentlessly. Korpi noticed one climbing onto the roof. When the biker attacked, Korpi dodged the hits and managed to toss him off, but the man grabbed a hanging rope and lunged again. Korpi swung him violently and sent him flying—only for Yeagor’s truck to crush him moments later. Korpi kept going. Another soldier aimed a shotgun at him, but Korpi maneuvered the truck into a crash that killed the soldier on the spot.

But another biker had already climbed onto the roof. Korpi tried shaking him off, yet the soldier grabbed him and managed to pull Korpi out of the truck. Korpi steered sharply, killing the biker hanging from the side, then grabbed another guard and forced him out of the truck. That guard became tangled in a loose rope. Korpi fed the rope into the machine, pulling it tight until it cut the guard’s throat open. With that, every biker was dead.

In a fury, Yeagor ordered a blast that set Korpi’s load of logs on fire. Korpi answered by strapping dynamite to the Korpise stuck in his truck and tossing it onto Yeagor’s car. Yeagor managed to leap out just before the explosion destroyed the entire vehicle. Korpi then drove into the forest and smothered the flames on the logs with leaves. Still seething, Yeagor demanded that their most powerful weapons be sent after him.

Korpi pulled over to inspect the logs and noticed that a few had suffered minor burns. He filled his cooler with water, knowing he still had a long way to go. After feeding his dog, he took a short break. Only then did he notice the bullet wound—shards of metal were lodged deep in his cheek—yet he was still moving like nothing had happened. Looking up, he spotted planes approaching, the same ones Yeagor dispatched to hunt him. He quickly put his dog back into the truck and drove off.

Both planes passed overhead. Korpi sped up, but one of them dove down to attack. Korpi quickly dodged the gunfire and noticed a nearby house with a garage. He drove inside to hide from the plane, knowing the shelter wouldn't last long. Just ahead of the garage was a thick forest. He also saw a large wooden plank and placed it over the top of his truck. Above him, the pilots began doing flight maneuvers before launching missiles that completely destroyed the garage.

Fortunately, Korpi had already gotten out. The planes kept shooting, but the plank protected the truck. Korpi then raced into the forest, where the planes struggled to follow him through the trees. Using that advantage, he increased his speed. One of the aircraft eventually lowered its altitude and managed to spot him again. The pilot banked the plane on its side and fired directly at Korpi. Korpi slammed on the brakes, causing the plane’s wings to smash into the truck, destroying the aircraft instantly.

Knowing he was no longer being chased, Korpi continued forward and approached the edge of the forest. He stepped out briefly to check for the second plane, but he couldn’t see it anywhere, even far off. Leaving the forest behind, he followed the boundary of the land. Eventually, the last plane noticed him and dove in his direction. It swept right across his path and tried to shoot, but the pilot had no bullets left.

Enraged and as reckless as Yeagor and Korpi, the pilot lowered the entire plane in front of Korpi’s truck, fastened his seat belt, and jumped out. Korpi tore the rope holding his logs, halted the truck, and dumped all the wood onto the road. The pursuing plane skidded over the logs, veered to the side, and exploded. The pilot descended with his parachute. Meanwhile, Korpi reloaded the logs into his truck, but the pilot began firing once more. Korpi, furious, strode toward him.

The pilot looked behind and started laughing. Korpi turned and saw a huge bomber approaching. He shoved the logs back into the truck, closed it, and drove off at full speed. The pilot assumed Korpi wouldn’t survive, but the bomber dropped explosives, some of which struck the pilot himself. Huge explosions tore through the area. Korpi skidded his truck away from the explosions and drove it into the water, where it soon began to sink. Underwater, Korpi faced difficulty breathing.

His first action was to push his dog out toward safety, followed by swimming out himself. He watched the logs descending with the truck and dove down to cut the rope, setting the timber loose. The logs surged upwards powerfully, but during the process of freeing them, Korpi fell unconscious in the depths. The logs floated away on the surface. His dog was searching wildly for him when a log surfaced directly beneath Korpi, lifting him and saving him.

His dog saw him, and Korpi slowly regained awareness. He had managed to save his dog and the logs. Later that day, in the evening, Yeagor appeared at the site with his assistant ('kee'). He inquired about the circumstances below. The guard informed him that the truck was submerged. Yeagor then asked about Korpi's presence. The soldiers reported that no body and none of the logs were there. Korpi had already made his escape.

"I judged him to be tougher than this," Yeagor remarked, "but he is still far from his destination in Finland." That same evening, across the bay, Korpi used his logs to construct a temporary flotation device, successfully reaching the other side with his dog. Walking onward, he was filled with cheer upon seeing a tank sitting near the water's edge. He also found additional weaponry inside. Korpi promptly began attaching everything to the tank, preparing it for battle.

The border between Soviet territory and Finland was only a short distance away, and Yeagor had already taken post there. He was lying in wait for Korpi, knowing the passage was a choke point. The sound of an engine soon reached Yeagor, signaling Korpi's appearance. He made ready to assassinate him. Korpi's approach revealed the tank, with the logs secured on its exterior. Yeagor saw Korpi at the controls, and all the soldiers took their firing stances.

Korpi settled into the command position, engaged the main gun, and advanced the tank. The officers returned fire, but Korpi ignited a trail of gasoline behind the tank, creating a protective fire line. He drove the tank full throttle. Several improvised bombs that he had positioned then went off. The force of the explosions launched the heavy vehicle over the border, causing it to land on the Finnish side.

Unfortunately for Korpi, the tank's treads soon snapped, rendering him stationary and trapped. Yeagor was thrilled at his predicament. Korpi was exhausted and wounded. He took out a knife, separating the wooden part from the steel blade. He first ensured the safety of his dog, which successfully crossed into Finland. The moment Korpi exited the tank, Yeagor snatched him. He was ready to finish him, but Wreck and his soldiers intervened.

Needing Korpi alive, Wreck took possession, and Yeagor pulled Korpi over and handed him off. Yeagor's final words were, "There's no place like home," followed by a kick that rendered Korpi unconscious. With the coming of night, Korpi was shipped back to Russia by rail. He was hung by his feet and was subjected to continuous physical abuse as the train traveled. The sustained torture led to Korpi losing a significant amount of blood.

Raor came near and remarked, "Korpi, the famous Finn. Though you don't know my name, I am responsible for your existence. I have taken countless lives of women and children, and they are forgotten. Though I sometimes recall their cries, one boy remains clear in my memory. Upon entering his home to kill his mother and sibling, the child wounded me with a knife. He came close to blinding me, and I knew the wood was from your property. That child was your offspring. He shared your bravery. You ought to be proud."

Raor explained, "His aggression infuriated me, so I killed him along with his mother and brother, cut them to pieces, and gave them to the dogs. Yeagor could have kept quiet, but he has provoked the lion again." Yeagor subsequently asserted, "You never scared me. My chain of command was terrified, and now they will torture you for days. I made you. I killed your entire family, and now you will rot away in our jail forever."

Yeagor walked away. Korpi grew furious, hanging upside down, he hooked his feet above and used all his strength to snap the rope. He fell hard to the floor. The guards heard the noise and rushed in. They played rock paper scissors to decide who would kill him. Earlier, Korpi had hidden the knife blade under his skin. After separating it from the wooden handle, he pulled the blade out. A guard entered to kill him, but Korpi attacked and tortured him.

The second guard heard the noise and opened the door. Instead, he saw his partner dead. When he stepped in, Korpi killed him, too. Another guard realized he died painfully, so he chose to jump out instead. Korpi tossed aside the guns and prepared himself for revenge. Meanwhile, Yeagor was forced to sit and enjoy dinner with Wreck and the other generals, something he hated. Yeagor demanded his reward so he could continue his journey.

Wreck said he would get it, but first he had to party with them. They drank heavily. Yeagor was growing extremely irritated. At the same time, Korpi sneaked into another train car with his logs because Yeagor had loaded them into the train as well. He moved forward quietly where he saw a soldier sleeping. A soldier woke up, so Korpi slipped into another coach. Another soldier stepped outside to relieve himself and returned noticing Korpi. He threw an ax and shut his mouth permanently.

But then another soldier spotted Korpi. So Korpi stabbed him and ended him right there. Most of the soldiers were still asleep. Korpi slowly moved forward, but one soldier accidentally dropped a bottle of alcohol. At the same time, another soldier began waking up because of the sounds coming from the dead soldier behind them. Korpi hid below the compartment, but shards of glass kept cutting into his body as he crawled. His hand even got caught inside a mouse trap.

Because of the noise coming from the dead soldiers, more soldiers began waking up. Korpi grabbed his ax and moved forward. He climbed out of the compartment with the ax and locked the door behind him. Then he checked the next coach. Inside, many officers were still awake, so Korpi climbed onto the roof of the train and moved forward quickly, but there an iron rod struck him and he fell straight down into the officer's compartment.

All the soldiers rushed to kill him. But Korpi unleashed his speed and started killing the soldiers right there. He took a machine gun and mowed down one guard after another. The gunshots echoed through the train and in the front coach, Yeagor also heard them. By then, Korpi had shredded every guard with bullets and was brutally finishing them. Yeagor came outside his compartment and saw bullets firing from behind. He immediately understood Korpi was responsible.

Yeagor detached the main coach from the back ones and moved forward in the train. After killing everyone, Korpi stepped out, ready to kill Yeagor, but Yeagor simply said bye and escaped. Korpi saw something kept nearby. When he pulled the curtain, he found a missile inside. Meanwhile, Yeagor returned to Wreck. As soon as he entered, he stabbed an officer, pulled out a gun, and killed all the remaining officers.

He was about to kill Re when Re showed him the money and said, "This is what Yeagor had come for." Then Yeagor pulled out a shotgun and said, "This is what I brought for you." And he blasted Wreck with bullets. After that, Yeagor calmly took a drink. Meanwhile, soldiers broke down the door and came forward. They saw their coach had stopped and Korpi had already taken the missile and moved ahead at full speed. Yeagor looked at the money and was thrilled.

But suddenly everything around him began shaking because a missile was approaching fast from behind. Yeagor realized something was wrong. Korpi was charging forward with a missile. When he reached the train, Korpi stopped the missile, but in sheer force sent hiim crashing directly into Yeagor. Korpi attacked Yeagor, unleashing all of his rage. Yeagor tried to overpower him and began beating him.

Korpi was already severely weakened from the torture, so Yeagor slammed him to the ground and walked away with the money. But Korpi rose again. Yeagor grabbed him and tried to kill him. Korpi took a fork and stabbed it into Yeagor's leg. Yeagor then tried to kill Korpi with the same fork and even choked him, but Korpi knocked him down again. Yeagor then grabbed an iron rod and hit Korpi repeatedly. Korpi was drenched in blood.

Yeagor said, "I thought if you came for revenge, you'd make a big explosion." Then he threw Korpi outside. The missile was still attached to the train. Korpi noticed it. Yeagor stepped outside. He asked Korpi if he had any last words. Korpi spit out a screw from his mouth. The same screw that had been holding the missile tied to the metal. Now the missile was free.

The missile shot forward, heading straight toward him, but it suddenly shut off and came to a stop right in front of him. Meanwhile, Korpi had detached the back hoes and fallen far behind. The train moved far ahead due to the missiles earlier momentum. Yeagor survived and was wildly relieved, but then the missile restarted and went straight into his mouth. A massive explosion followed. Korpi watched the explosion from afar, satisfied as Yeagor died brutally.

2 days later, at a train station near the Finland border, guards were sitting when they heard a sound. Armed with guns, they moved forward and found Korpi returning with his logs. The guards captured him. Korpi handed them his ID. They read his name and understood this was Korpi, the legend. The guards saluted him. A few days later, Korpi was building a house with his dog using the logs he brought back. He was slowly recovering.

His dog began barking. Some nearby villagers were approaching. Korpi prepared to fight them, but they said, "You'll need help with this work, so we came to assist." Hearing that, Korpi got emotional. No one had helped him in a long time. The villagers understood this, and they all stepped forward to help Korpi build his home. Korpi broke down crying. During the end credits, it is shown that all of them helped Korpi a lot, and together they finished building his house.
